The Seeds We Sow

It is truly dangerous when we begin thinking our personal interest warrants taking the lives of others. Imagine every individual/country in the world making the choice to kill, murder and rape, all in the name of protecting their personal/national interests. Just imagine!! James Holmes may have murdered in his personal interest. We kill others daily by our words and actions. Sometimes it is not so obvious to us, because our actions are just like small seeds. The shooting at Aurora may not be so different from the acts of some powerful nations, corporations and individuals in developing countries and in our communities. Yet, some of these acts pass for normal business. Death – slow or fast – makes no difference. When we are silent about, or turn a blind eye to any form of evil, we lay the foundation for the proliferation of evils of all sorts. May we sow good seeds.
